Colleen O’Shaugnessey turns 50 years old today!!

She had been the first American voice actress I had ever got to know her on. Cause when I saw her as Sora and Yoshino from those “Digimon: Digital Monsters” tv shows and movies, she had been amazing as those two characters.

She’s also the voice of Miles ‘Tails’ Prower from the Sonic series including the movies, Ino Yamanaka from the ‘Naruto/Boruto’ series including the movies, Karen from “Ponyo”, Seiren from “Vampire Knight”, Mimi Tasogare from season two and three of “Duel Masters”, Assado from “Battle B-Daman”, Pokota from two of the “Slayers” movies that is connected to that anime tv series, and Suzy Mizuno from “Zatch Bell”.

Other roles she did, I’m not so sure on like that “Danny Phantom” cartoon from Nickelodeon. Not even those video games.

As of 2021, since she was born on September 15th, 1971, she now turns 50 years old today. So Happy B-Day to her!! And yet, she still has a beautiful voice. Despite for how she reads books to children on your YouTube channel, she has been taking it easy on herself. Especially in voice acting. Although I felt sorry for her when Michael Lindsay and Philece Sampler passed away too soon. They were the voices of Joe Kido, Mimi Tachikawa, and Cody Hilda in the “Digimon: Digital Monsters” tv show on the first two seasons, and movies too.

She did get married in 2000 by some guy named Jason Villard. And as of 2021, she and Jason with their two children are somewhere in Los Angeles, California.

Despite that she’ll be joining Lara Jill Miller in that lousy ‘Loud House’ cartoon, when I saw her as Miles ‘Tails’ Prower from that live action Sonic movie in that mid credits scene, I thought that was remarkable indeed.

Besides, she as Tails and American actor Ben Schwartz as Sonic would make a great team after all. Taking down Jim Carrey as Dr. Ivo ‘Eggman’ Robotnik and putting him behind bars. (And I just hope she gets a second chance to reprise her role as Tails again as a major role this time, in the new Sonic movie sequel. Coming out on April 8th, 2022).

In the 3rd Sonic movie hopefully in future after that “Sonic the Hedgehog 2” movie, it would be great if Amy Rose and Cream the Rabbit join in.

By celebrating her 50th b-day, I have been looking at the best moments she did as those anime characters including some “Digimon: Digital Monsters” episodes. And proposing a toast to her with a Diet Pepsi drink. I may not have gotten an photo of her, with autograph with it, but I still care for her very much, as well as the rest of the voice actresses out there including Lara Jill Miller, Tifanie Christun, Carly McKillip, Susan Roman, Moneca Stori, Carly McKillip and more. (Not to mention her sister, Britt McKillip). I do wish to send to a letter, but the internet doesn’t show her mailing addresses which is not fair.

Now, to those that have a Twitter account, if you want to ask her anything or chat with her, I think you should check out her Twitter account. (Click on link below).

And wish her a Happy Birthday too on this one.

So, Happy 50th B-Day Colleen O’Shaugnessey!! I still admire your anime characters very much, as well as you. In addition, if you have any time, tell your husband, kids, as well as your friends Joshua Seth, Lara Jill Miller, and Tifanie Christun I said ‘Hi’.

World Trade Center (2006)

I was six years old on September 11th, 2001 when those two passenger planes crashed into the two buildings of the World Trade Center in Manhattan, NYC. I thought it was all an accident, but it wasn’t. Both planes were hijacked as they came from the Middle East. It was no thanks to those terrorists. Immediately, all of North America declared war in the Middle East. Mostly Afghanistan. So before the ‘12 Strong’ were the first to be deployed to avenge the death of the World Trade Center, many firefighters and police officers fought hard to rescue many people before the twin towers completely collapsed.

One of them for example, Brian Cannizzaro was 31 years old when this firefighter was killed on that day. A while ago with his children, before his death on that tragic day, they loved watching Hit Entertainment tv shows for kids like “Angelina Ballerina”, “The Wiggles”, the stop motion cartoon “Bob the Builder”, a little bit of that violet dinosaur ‘Barney’, but mostly “The Crocodile Hunter”. Which was why a year later, “Wiggly Safari” with the Wiggles, Steve Irwin, his wife Terri and their daughter Bindi, dedicated that kids video in loving memory of him. And the rest of the firefighters who lost their lives on September 11th, 2001.

2,749 people died on that day at the World Trade Center including citizens from 87 countries. 343 were New York firemen. 84 were port authority employees of whom 37 were police. Another 23 were NYPD.

Out of most of the NYC firefighters, only two have made it out alive, plus 18 more people. I wasn’t prepared to watch this movie yet in 2006, but I sure did when I got older. Had no choice but to watch it online. Just in time before September 11th, 2021. Cause it’s been 20 years since that tragic day. And I thank filmmaker Oliver Stone for doing this historical film. Depicting of how those firefighters fought hard as only two got out. Film critic Roger Ebert of the Chicago Sun-Times, just before or after he had his lower jaw removed in surgery to avoid cancer, he gave this film 2 and a half out of 4 stars. However after watching this, 7.2 out of 10 stars is what I give on this.

Nicholas Cage, Michael Peña, Jay Hernandez, Jon Bernthal, Michael Shannon, and Viola Davis are the only stars I know of. Before they got famous later on. The only part I didn’t liked were those hallucinations.

As of 2021, after a long war which lasted 20 long years, US troops have decided to withdraw by September 11th, 2021. Just in time for the 20th anniversary of that tragic day. One path that the people in the Middle East would have to choose, despite the American troops over there. And that is the path of surrender. Raising the white flag to give it all up. Let one nation win it all to avenge the death of the World Trade Center.

After all, it was Philippe Petit’s most favourite place to ever visit. The French high wire artist that on the morning of August 7th, 1974, he did a high wire walk between the twin towers of the World Trade Center, when that place was already born.

Band of Brothers Music Video- Wake Me Up When September Ends (Green Day)

I don’t like American actor Damian Lewis who was in those very dramatic tv shows such as “Homeland” and “Billions”. Especially when he’s a bad guy messing around Paul Giamatti. He was superb in “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood” as Steve McQueen. However, he was grand in this 2001 drama miniseries. Created by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg who did “Saving Private Ryan”, he was Major Richard D. Winters in “Band of Brothers”.

Joining him are Ron Livingston (from “Office Space”) as Captain Lewis Nixon, Colin Hanks as First Lieutenant Henry S. Jones, Tom Hardy as Private John Janovec, Dale Dye as Colonel Robert Sink, Michael Fassbender as Technical Sergeant Burton Christensen, Jimmy Fallon as Lt. George C. Rice, Corey Johnson as Major Louis Kent, James McAvoy as Pvt. James W. Miller, and Simon Pegg as First Sergeant William S. Evans.

So in this miniseries, before “The Pacific” came out, this talks about the Airborne division as they survive the Second World War while they’re in enemy territory. This won Emmy awards, and a Golden Globe Award for Best Miniseries or Motion Picture Made for Television.

This song thanks to Green Day really suits this music video very well. And not just that. This song before this music video on YouTube was created, was dedicated to those who perished on September 11th, 2001. The day that the World Trade Center in NYC had been destroyed, no thanks to those two hijacked passenger planes that ran into them. All the way from the Middle East. Immediately, the USA declared war in the Middle East, mostly Afghanistan as many soldiers were deployed to avenge the death of the World Trade Center, including the ‘12 Strong’ as the very first.

Kids or young adults may find this song interesting, while summer ends as autumn begins; before they go back to school in early September after Labour Day.

However, in any music video, Green Day made an excellent choice to do this song, and dedicate to those who perished on that day in late 2001. Remember, war can be terrible. Like for what you see here, the First World War, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, or any Civil War in whatever country.

Fortunately, the good news is, after a serious campaign which lasted nearly 20 years, the USA have decided to withdraw by the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attack. They are evacuating people out of the Middle East, dozen by dozen, before things can go out of hand. And once that’s fully accomplished, then they can plan their final move to wipe out the Taliban. One path that the guerrillas have to choose. And that is the path of surrender. Nothing more, nothing else. In conclusion, when that’s also accomplished, war shall be no more. Big time.

Tune in next time on Saturday, September 11th, 2021 at 8:48 am for a 2006 movie review that depicts the 9/11 attack. Starring Nicholas Cage, and directed by Oliver Stone. And maybe a celebrity’s birthday who’s turning 50 years old on Wednesday, September 15th, 2021. Then movie reviews will resume in October of 2021.

In the meantime, wake me up when September ends. 😴😴😴😴
