The Missing Link (2019)

From the stop motion animation studio that gave us “Kubo and the Two Strings”, all the effort made them win the Golden Globe Award for Best Animated Feature Film. It tried to win the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature Film, but lost due to the dark side of movies & tv shows on its evil demonic possessed toys that will kill you since Brad Dourif on Chucky in “Child’s Play” that I totally dislike on.

When I was in middle school, we learned about unexplained mysteries. Such as Stonehenge, UFO sightings, crop circles, the Bermuda Triangle, Sasquatch’s such as Bigfoot and the Abominable Snowman, and my favourite one, the Loch Ness Monster. There hasn’t been much on movies that tell about this, but thanks to the tv show “Mystery Hunters”, that was a reliable resource. And so was that movie on the Loch Ness Monster, “Water Horse: Legend of the Deep”.

Years later came this, and this totally deserved that Golden Globe Award for Best Animated Feature Film for sure.

When we look at monster fighters like how these guys were in the Lego set series, they only hunt and kill monsters like vampires, mummy’s, mad scientists, zombies, werewolves, ghosts, man-bat creatures, Frankenstein’s monster, gill amphibian creatures, and more. Especially on going after big gems called ‘moon-stones’. But this one was up for its unexplained mysteries.

In the year 1886, Sir Lionel Frost travelled to the Pacific Northwest in America, and met a Sasquatch by calling himself, Mr. Link. As in the Missing Link. A famous one besides Bigfoot. 8 ft tall, and 630 pounds besides the hair that makes him look heavier. By going on a quest together, they travelled to Tibet. In the search of his cousins, as abominable snow men. All the way to Shangri-La and back to London, England.

Zach Galifianakis is the voice of Mr. Link, as Hugh Jackman is the voice of Sir Lionel Frost. Joining them are Zoe Saldana, Emma Thompson, and Timothy Olyphant since he was Agent 47 in “Hitman” in 2007. So for a success, a straight ‘A’ is what I give. Remember, seeing is believing like what they say. Even when you look at something like so (look below) who wants to be your friend like Mr. Link.

Audience: Awww…..
Audience: Awwwww…..
Brad Dourif: I’m Brad Dourif. I was in “Alien Resurrection” as well as-
Old Tibetan lady: AAAHHHHH!!!!! (Faints)
Tibetan Granddaughter: You have killed my grandmother!!
Mexican Lady: Somebody should give her CPR!!
Brad Dourif: Hold on a sec. No way José. I ain’t doing it. And I-. Whoa. What happened to you boys?
(All three boys as brothers moaning from their injuries)
Ian Kelley (portrayed by Richard Ian Cox): Hello! For what you did back in the day, were the worst movies that you had ever did! As how it relates to what we’re facing today. Evil demonic possessed toys that came out from hell. No thanks to the dark side that did it. Same to you Emma Thompson!
Emma Thompson: Well, he’s just an actor. And even if we get into-
Ian Kelley (portrayed by Richard Ian Cox): Listen to me Emma Thompson, you lousy British b****!! Do the words, F.O. mean anything to you?! Cause you need to tell animator/directors from the dark side, such as Brad Bird, Chris Buck, Jennifer Lee, Rich Moore, Byron Howard, Josh Cooley, Jonas Rivera, Mark Nielsen, Andrew Stanton, Pete Docter, Darla K. Anderson, Clark Spencer, Peter Del Vecho, Don Hall, Roy Conli, Chris Williams, Lee Unkrich, Mark Andrews, Brenda Chapman, Gore Verbinski, and that chubby John ‘Lardass’ Lassetter that I said F.U. guys BIG TIME!! Cause for what you guys are doing including them, is absolutely bulls***!! And I mean it!! BIG TIME!! Japanese animation is the best as always!! Not for what they and you guys are doing!! Like for what my friend, O-Dog Kubrick told me!! Besides, look at me!! I turn out to be the lousiest cartoon ever to be shown, as I got into messes with my family!! Including for how I nearly froze to death, as how I nearly died in the wild by looking for an animal that doesn’t exist!! And, I lost my camera!!
Jenny (portrayed by Janice Kawaye): (sigh) That makes two of us Ian. I didn’t turn out so well as how you did….
(Meanwhile, back in the snowy mountains, a Sasquatch finds his video camera and happily does a quick dance)
