Those happen to be the 52 original Clow Cards in the hit anime TV show “Cardcaptors”. Since the day that “Cardcaptors” was on that TV channel Teletoon.

Clow Reed, a wise and honorable magician, born with a Chinese mother and an English father who were both magicians together, learned the ways of magic since he was raised in Hong Kong, China. Exceptionally tall with long black hair, and a ponytail, wearing those dark clothing, he always smiled. Especially on snowy evenings.

Very wise, with immense power, can also look into the future by his powers. He did loved someone.

Su Yung. A wind sorceress before there was Kagura in the “InuYasha” series. She was also a fortune teller.

Their love didn’t lasted very long. This made her become very furious, as she had battles with Clow Reed. Until he imprisoned her with all the magic he had left.

And on that moment, in Hong Kong, China, just when he was near death, he finally created the Clow Cards.

All together, were locked in a mysterious book. What about his two guardians, close to Clow Reed?

His fiery large-winged mountain lion, decided to guard the book and remain in the book. In the form of a plush animal until after centuries, he accidentally fell asleep for 30 years. He never returned to his true form until the last card was captured, close to the final judgement. I don’t know on what happened to Yue, that white powerful angel, but he did chose Julian Star as his borrowed form I believe.

And after that first episode that lead to its 70 episodes and one movie that took them to Hong Kong, China all together, “Cardcaptors” became remarkable, beautiful, and a very brilliant anime TV show on Teletoon in those glory days.

You can see for yourself…
