The Maze Runner: The Death Cure

Based on the third and final novel of ‘The Maze Runner’ saga, this second sequel came to the final chapter, as we’ve been waiting for.

Since one of the boys vowed revenge on that W.C.K.D scientist who was portrayed by Patricia Clarkson, from the first sequel, they struck back. From a train battle, going through a tunnel with infected people, to rescuing children at the Last City, they made it in and came out together.

They did met a few familiar faces, as they joined the revolution. One of them was resurrected from the first movie, became very well, and another leader who lead against a fiery attack on the Last City. Barry Pepper as the resistance leader, he made it out. But this guy was portrayed by Walton Goggins. Who happened to be in “Predators”, and “The Hateful Eight”. And when you look at him, he was definitely like Barry Pepper that was destined to become a sheriff in Red Rock, Wyoming. Thanks to Quentin Tarantino’s new masterpiece.

The Last City, was in flames by the time that they made out. Especially when they rescued one of their friends, captured alive. But no one else made it out besides them. Everyone died by the time buildings collapsed, including the main W.C.K.D. flak tower.

What about Patrica Clarkson as the W.C.K.D. scientist? Rather than our main character portrayed by Dylan O’Brien killing her as an act of revenge, she was betrayed by her military commander, portrayed by Aiden Gillen. He got infected by the virus, that was newly evolved and how he didn’t care. But he did deserved a death wish. How did he die?

By learning the one thing that never knew. Fear the Walking Dead! Infected people, as they devoured him alive. They were as dead as President Snow, portrayed by Donald Sutherland in “The Hunger Games”.

With a new life, a new home, and a new beginning, with no mazes, and none left of that World Catastrophe Kill zone Department, everything came to a successful conclusion.

Throughout all three movies, besides Barry Pepper, Patricia Clarkson and Walton Goggins, there were Dylan O’Brien, Ki Hong Lee, Blake Cooper, Will Poulter, Aml Ameen, Dexter Darden, and Nathalie Emmanuel as our main maze runners. All three movies directed by Wes Ball, and based on the books by James Dashner. 9/10 stars is what I’ll give here. And I’ll tell you one thing…W.C.K.D. is never good to be true.

This is how a legacy is. This shall be a maze runner legend. Light up the darkness.

Sailor Moon R: The Movie (The Promise of the Rose)

I saw bits of this in that movie intro, back in the day when I saw this on TV with my own eyes. They showed all three Sailor Moon movies together, as it took me a while to find them. Especially when it was around that TV channel, YTV in Canada back in the day.

Besides “Invasion of the Body Snatchers”, promises can be promises, as you do not want to lose the friends that you ever had. That was how this anime movie was, and how Serena’s boyfriend met someone that he knew from his childhood. This was before Sailor Neptune, Sailor Uranus, and Sailor Saturn arrived in ‘Sailor Moon S’ and how they fought against Kaguya in “Hearts In Ice”.

To those roses and flowers from space, and how they can control peoples minds and energy, they were way better than for what happened in those two movie adaptions of “Invasion of the Body Snatchers”.

Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Venus, Sailor Mars, and Sailor Jupiter were to stop them. What about the two cats, and Rini? They stayed on Earth, as they were glad that they made it back. Just in time before “Hearts in Ice” began months later. But besides watching a new version from VIZ Media, with a new cast and everything, just for old times sake, this English version from Pioneer Entertainment, I admire it very well.

7/10 stars is what I give this.

The Escape from Alcatraz- SUCCESS!!!!

“Escape from Alcatraz” with Clint Eastwood, Fred Ward, Jack Thibeau, Patrick McGoohan, Roberts Blossom, Paul Benjamin, Bruce M. Fischer and Danny Glover definitely made film history on how these three inmates could escape from an impregnable location. Based on actual true events.

On the History Channel, and the Discovery Channel on TV for years, they made too much documentary shit on how they were looking for them, how Alcatraz can be, and how everyone gets the whole story.

But one day, by a letter sent to the FBI, John Anglin who escaped from Alcatraz, was still alive and was 83 years of age!! In his letter, he had stated that he has cancer, and is in bad shape, but they actually made it out alive! They finally escaped from Alcatraz alive. Not drowned, or disappeared at sea. And as for Frank Lee Morris, he died in 2008 while Clarence died in 2011, 3 years later.

So I’ve been waiting to say this, and here it goes….

“In your face History Channel, and Discovery Channel!! Patrick McGoohan too!! You have wrong the whole time, but I was right for sure!!”

Someone I know of, JR Watson who is a gold professional and a fan of Clint Eastwood, he just knew that Clint Eastwood made it out. But, he did made it out as Frank Morris in that movie. And it was a good thing that after they escaped, Alcatraz was definitely shut down. Since Al Capone, Ellsworth Johnson, Machine Gun Kelly, Robert Stroud and more of those famous inmates, that were once criminals like John Dillinger, they knew that one day, someone would escape from Alcatraz.

And as of this very moment, with those criminal inmates in heaven, that once lived on this Earth, along with Frank Lee Morris and Clarence Anglin, they’ll be waiting for John Anglin to arrive.

Edward Bunker also, since he was a criminal, author and actor in his life time. Especially when he was Mr. Blue in Quentin Tarantino’s vert first violent gangster movie, “Reservoir Dogs”.

Digimon Adventure tri: Determination

It took me months to find Part II of “Digimon Adventure tri”. Surprising at first in the beginning, but was shocking on what the Digidestined had witnessed.

Weeks after the first movie, they brought in a new character and a new Digimon that the saved on. Meiko and Meicoomon. And together, they keep each other safe.

However, more infected Digimon came. And it wasn’t just that. There was a new Digimon emperor. Since the first one was a psychopath, this new one, was the source to the infected Digimon. And how he intends to take on both worlds. Our world and the Digital World.

From the parks to their school festival, and how they need to be together, they faced on everything they can before Meicoomon disappeared. Brainwashed. Joe learned about that as a valuable lesson. But they will find Meicoomon and stop that villain for sure. So I’m giving this a straight ‘A’. 10/10 stars.

So for more to come…on “Digimon Adventure tri: Confession”…

Planet of the Apes- 50th anniversary

Since 1968, producer Arthur P. Jacobs, and director Franklin J. Schaffner together, made the number 1# science fiction movie in film history. Based on the novel by Pierre Boulle, Charlton Heston was Astronaut Taylor, in which he and his team crash landed on a world where the apes were intelligent, and how the humans were mute, and were treated like animals.

Not only that movie made him very famous, but it also made Roddy McDowell, Maurice Evans, James Whitmore, and Lou Wagner famous also. They were the intelligent apes such as gorillas, chimpanzees, and orangutans.

From Charlton Heston’s famous quote, “It’s a madhouse!”, to the beach where he found the ruins of the Statue of Liberty, on how he called out, “God damn you all to hell!”, this movie made film history. The sequels too, as stars like James Franciscus, Richardo Montalbán, and more joined in. Until by 1973, so ends the original ‘Planet of the Apes’ saga.

And as of January of 2018, rumours have spread that this happens to be the 50th anniversary of that original movie. And it’s sequels too. So all over the news, they’re making an origin comic on the gorilla general, from the sequel. And in LA, they’re showing a special exhibit, and a 50th anniversary screening. However in Canada, by channel AMC, they just show the movie on TV and tell about its anniversary.

So for the sake of 20th Century Fox, and nothing more, I was glad to know about this original movie. The reboot series too. But I do ask one favour fans. Stay away from the 2001 version, that happens to be directed by Tim Burton!! Rumours have spread that it didn’t turn out very well. And it’s a good thing I never watched it. Not especially on VHS or DVD or on TV.

And as for the stars for what they did back in the 1960’s, besides shit that occurred to them later in their lives, they did really great. So in conclusion, remember, never end up in a world where apes are intelligent. Cause you’ll wind up on how Charlton Heston, James Franciscus and Linda Hamilton faced on. Especially when that original movie made cinema history in 1968, 50 years ago.

Animal Cops TV show (Detroit, Houston, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Phoenix, Miami, and South Africa)

In those major cities in the USA, and in south of Africa, there have been not just police officers who work for the LAPD, NYPD, BPD, DPD, MPD, SFPD, HPD, and the PPD’s in Philadelphia and Phoenix. There have been animal cops.

Thanks to the channel, Animal Planet, they did those TV shows in different locations. They tell about special police officers that save animals from cruelty and disease from their original owners. To those that made their animals way worse, would be arrested. So for a cat, or a dog, or a reptile, or a bird, or a farm animal would be for example, in pain, then they need medical attention. Some of these animals would have their legs amputated. Luckily for most animals, they make it.

However, to those who didn’t make it, and be brought down to the graves, the original owners would be sentenced to life in jail, or death row. Execution.

There have been amazing rescues on these animals. For example, more than 2,500 felines have been rescued from rotten homes. Some of them were trapped in wells and sewer drains. Another example, shows on how almost 2,000 canines have been rescued immediately. Most of them were worse, needed medical attention, and after treatment and operations, they came out okay, especially to those dogs who had their legs amputated. Ears and tails too. And for a third example, whenever they deal with birds and reptiles, almost 1,000 have been rescued together. Some of the reptiles needed treatment, as the birds needed attention to their heads, wings, body and baby birds. Fourth and the very last example, farm animals. Rather than for what happened during the Great Depression in the 1930’s, farms and barnyards were way worse for these farm animals. Some of them had skin problems and needed treatment. Which was 2,100 farm animals were rescued. And made it out just in time.

For a new beginning on these rescued animals, they have been set up for adoption. For a new home and a new life, they get better owners.

It came to a surprisingly shock on how they did this TV show in South Africa. They mostly rescued three dogs, a baboon, a seal, a horse, six ponies, and one porcupine for their cases. But in my opinion, cheetahs, zebras, hyenas, a few elephants, white tigers, some hippo’s by the rivers, and white lions is what they’ve rescued in South Africa who needed attention.

My dad never likes those kinds of drama live action TV shows. But I know they were good for the sake of that TV channel, Animal Planet. And how animals needed adoption. So for how animal cops can be in successful rescues, I’ll give this almost 8/10 stars. This rating for their locations. In conclusion for the future, Animal Cops will needed to continue hopefully in new locations. Let’s say Boston, or Los Angeles, or Cincinnati.

And when I care for animals very much, I want to be like how Vivian Kubrick did. Like her father, Stanley Kubrick, she rescued several animals. And that’s what I might do in future.
