The Hunger Games: Mockingjay (Part 1 & Part 2)

Like the final chapter of “Harry Potter” and “The Twilight Saga”, this struck the Hunger Games saga of the book, “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay” as it was adapted into a two part movie. Part 1 and Part 2. Jennifer Lawrence plays Katniss Everdeen who becomes not only ‘The Girl on Fire’ again, but as ‘The Mockingjay’. Along with Liam Hemsworth as Gale, Josh Hutcherson as Peeta, Phillip Seymour Hoffman as Plutarch Heavensbee, they are with all of Panem in the revolution against the Capitol.

Introducing in this is Julianne Moore as President Coin, leader of the revolution as she’s in control of the underground base of District 13. Her colonel is played by the same actor who played a mercenary in “Predators” who was interesting.

Part 1 began with Katniss, after the destruction of the Hunger Games, she was rescued as she was trying to calm down while in District 13. She was introduced to Coin as she became a revolution leader known as ‘The Mockingjay’. She paid a visit to what was left of District 12 as it was in ruins. She grabbed a few things from her house, including their house cat. Working with Gale, the colonel and a film crew, they were armed and loaded with explosive arsenal. They paid a visit to District 8 as they were trying to save people in a hospital. Fighters came from the Capitol as they destroyed it, and bits of District 8.

With Beetee hacking into the TV and Wi-Fi of the districts, Katniss gave out a message to that and the Capitol as she was furious. Everyone in the districts agreed with her.

Three battles have happened, including the District 8 hospital fight. There was that, how lumberjacks in District 7 took out some Peacekeepers by placing landmines and killing them, and how a rebel demolition team blew up a dam in District 5. Causing a blackout in the Capitol. Fighters from the Capitol almost destroyed District 13 when President Snow was haunting Katniss. He warned people in districts that if they do the symbol of the Mockingjay or the three finger call, they will get shot. And make things his own way.

A rescue team finally rescued Annie, Johanna and Peeta from the Capitol as it was a success. However, Peeta was hijacked with tracker jacker venom as he went crazy. You can tell by his skin and his eyes. He was brainwashed to kill Katniss but never did. Katniss was almost strangled to death when her colonel saved her. Knocked out Peeta. She wore a neck brace on her neck after that, as it was gonna take a while for her to get better. You can tell by her eyes. As Katniss was recovering, Peeta was in a white isolated room, strapped to a table very, very tight as it was gonna take a while. He was trying to get out, but never did. That was when after he was tired, it went from Part 1 to Part 2.

Part 2 began was not only to stop a military stronghold in District 2, but to assassinate President Snow for sure. It took quite a while for Peeta to recover and stop that hijacking in him. Even taking out the venom. He remembers for sure as he felt better, but had felt the terrible pain when they were torturing him. The same went for Katniss when her neck got better. After Finnick married Annie in District 13, they had a celebration dance as they were happy. Even Primrose danced with Katniss as they were to be together, probably before the final conflict. Johanna without her hair, was funny like that. Bald. Even at the wedding when Katniss and Johanna were talking.

After that, Katniss with Peeta, Finnick, Gale, and trusted friends, they’ve mobilized a unit from District 13 for the assassination on President Snow to begin. After all, he has to pay for what he had done wrong. However, with the Capitol armed with booby traps such as black thick oil, mutant blind zombies in the sewers, flamethrowers, laser beams, and calibe machine guns, this is like the 76th Hunger Games. But not. The assassination on President Snow had to an end on him!!

As they faced experience, life and the booby traps, they made it to the centre of Capitol as Peacekeeper troops were annihilating everything. So Gale and Katniss had to put on hooded disguises so they won’t be seen. Almost by the Peacekeeper troops, a furious battle was raged by the people of the Districts against them. Every Peacekeeper was annihilated and killed as explosions and gun firing were everywhere. Until, all the Peacekeeper troops were dead for good riddance. Including their commander from “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire”.

By the time when some of her friends were killed, and her sister Prim, President Coin was the new leader. Snow was ready for execution, as truth was foretold. They are the future of Panem. So Katniss horribly, but tragedly, killed President Coin. Snow laughed coughing up blood as the people of Panem cam running up to him, killing him.

Donald Sutherland as that president is one goddam hogging bitch. Burn in hell asshole! Burn in hell!!

After that, like the book, Annie had a child as Peeta and Katniss watch their children play in th meadow. There are much worse games to play. 7/10 stars on both parts.

Philip Seymour Hoffman was a really good actor who played Plutarch Heavensbee, as these two movies were dedicated in the loving memory of him. We shall never forget that wonderful actor, as this was all true like what you read in the Hunger Games books. The rest of the cast were really good that I am proud of. But D. Sutherland, and his son Kiefer should burn in hell for good riddance. He’s been awkward these days along with Kiefer. Burning in hell for these two, should get what they wanted more. Even a death wish. A death wish for the both of them.

For these two, it’s like what I said as always to a death wish. On these two. ‘Three hearts, two minds, one bullet’.
