James Franciscus (1934-1991)

Interesting actor on this man. He was with Charlton Heston in “Beneath the Planet of the Apes”, a Ray Harryhausen movie, “The Valley of Gwangi”, and James Cagney in the Oscar nominated movie with sound effects, “Marooned”.

He was once married to Kitty Wellman, as they had four children. By 1991, he died of emphysema. He was 57 years of age when he passed away. He sure would’ve lived much longer and passed away later. Maybe with Charlton Heston since they were Taylor and Brent. Really great partners in “Beneath the Planet of the Apes”. Along with Linda Harrison as Nova.

During “Beneath the Planet of the Apes”, he was really handsome with that facial hair. And how he loved working with Heston. He fought hard on killing gorilla soldiers while escaping the city, as he and Linda looked really good at church in that movie. By the time they saw the mutants when they took off their masks. But most important, he was a really good marksman. As he killed every single gorilla soldier there is. And I wanna be just like him.

However, it was for what the apes got in the end. After Nova, he and Taylor got shot and died, they activated the doomsday bomb. Dr. Zaius played by Maurice Evans must’ve screamed badly when the bomb was let off. Died in the blast as that’s for what he gets. A death wish.

By the time that was done with, he still loved Charton Heston and Linda Harrison after that. But I am sure they are in heaven right now, all three together now as they love their glory days. When I have a wife and kid, and if it’s a boy, I’ll name him after this actor here. James Franciscus. Expert in marksmanship like how did, when he killed talking gorilla soldiers. In “Beneath the Planet of the Apes”.
