Kill Bill Vol. 1 and 2

From the director who made “Inglorious Bastards”, Quentin Tarantino, he directed two parts in one whole movie.

“Revenge is a dish best served cold” is for what they say, as Mr. Freeze in “Batman: the Animated Series”, on the episode “Heart of Ice” said that.

Starring Uma Thurman, she plays as a assassin who was a part of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad. She gave up her her job, as she was pregnant. He and his love were getting married, when her boss and four members of the team, wiped out everything. They killed her husband and took her unborn child away.

After spending four years in a hospital, she declared revenge on them.

Vol. 1 is where it begins, as she goes to Tokyo, Japan and takes on a army of samurai’s as she killed one of the members. Then another one back in America. What I like about this, is how the flashback on one of the members was on drawing animation. Almost anime like. I guess Quentin was amazing in drawing in pre-animation class.

Vol. 2 is where she is on the last three members including their leader. When she was buried alive, a flashback shows how a martial arts master trains her as she needs to have the right moves. At a part when she needs to break the wood. And she did when she broke out, and dug all her way out until 8 ft of dirt. After a eye patched member let a poisonous snake killed one of the members, she did found out about this as she finally killed her by pulling her last eyeball out.

As she finally found her daughter and the man that he almost killed her, she finally had her revenge.

9/10 stars on this, as its got a great cast! Thank you Quentin Tarantino for this!!

Shining Time Station

I was a 1# Thomas the Tank Engine fan back then when I started growing up and watching PBS Kids. This show came out as a hit, when Ringo Starr and George Carlin were in it.

A small town in a happy land where a train station can be worked up, polished and good as new. And the people there learn an important lesson. Even when kids listen to a small conductor man who tells the Thomas the Tank Engine stories and episodes.

In the first season, Ringo Starr did terrific as George Carlin took his place in Season 2 and 3.

We do miss Ringo Starr as long as George did good in some of the episodes. The best part that this was on YTV!! I used to love that until now. And they did had an anniversary of that a few months ago. YTV maybe a part of Nickelodeon now, but I prefer the best on anime TV shows even at night.

The Littlest Hobo

My dad, high school teachers, uncle in Nova Scotia, and everyone I know love this TV show. About a dog who helps people’s problems as he does his stuff on his own. He does have no family or home, but will find one soon.

What I hate about this show is how they do it in two parts. Part 1, Part 2, etc.

What was really amazing is that he met Donald O’Conner! He was the guy from “Singin’ in the Rain” as he played as a clown! He looked good, as he wanted to be since he sang “Make Em Laugh”. He was getting old as his face looked good.

I just think that episode “The Clown”, was the most memorable episode that I have to watch again. And where he, and Hobo can be is the place where they can be as a new home to make children happy. Even to themselves. Tom Hanks, George Carlin and Ringo Starr might meet them at let’s just say, “Shining Time Station”.

That is a home where Hobo , and Donald O’Conner should be. “Shining Time Station”.

The Three Amigos

With Steve Martin, Chevy Chase and Martin Short, they play as three actors as real heroes!

All together they sing songs, do their style and moves, and speak what they say. When a Mexican town needed their help as real heroes, they go there like in “The Magnificent Seven” as they find what they enjoy in common.

I would rate this, almost 4 stars.

Cliffhanger

You may have seen the opening intro of “Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls” when he tried to save a raccoon. But this is the actual movie where that scene had happened!

After that cliffhanger lost that girl and she died, he retired. But when he was needed in action about a plane crash, he goes back out there to hang on.

He is played by Sylvester Stallone, as after the movie, they did the Ace Ventura parody and did a myth to confirm it from “Mythbusters”.

I would rate this movie, 3 1/2 stars.

And it is in the time when the movie, “Speed” was around.
